The fact that this poor man's Subspace bears the name Wing Commander is a travesty. When i downloaded the demo, I was looking forward to a slightly updated version of the WC style space combat I loved years ago. When i went into my first game, i was stunned at what i saw. This is not my Wing Commander nor is it anyone's Wing Commander. The gameplay is so trite it throws away all the skill that space combat games had in the past. If you have ever played SubSpace, this is the same thing only with less players and clunkier gameplay. The graphics are pretty since they are in HD, but that's about all that's good with this game. It's nothing but a mediocre game that someone slapped the WC name on in the hopes that gamers would buy it based on the IP. I only downloaded the demo so I got lucky. Avoid this marketing ploy. Download any of the other, independently developed games on XBL Arcade and support a game that needs it instead.
