It is unfortunate that Gamespot has failed to review this great WWII fighter game which has been available since December. The game is only available via Steam (which we all know sucks) and something called yuPlay, which looks like a scam site (but it isn't). Since it is not available in stores or produced by a major developer, it apparently isn't worthy of Gamespot's review. I feel bad for the developers because Gamespot is huge free advertising, and by the low volume of members that have ranked the game, it doesn't appear to be too well known. If Gamespot was to review it, I'm certain they would give it high marks, increasing sales. Ok. Enough about that issue. On to the game.
Wings of Prey is easily the best looking WWII fighter game ever made. The game play is just plain fun. It's less cumbersome to play than IL 2, has a nice looking, dynamic in-flight map, and is intelligently designed. Hard core flight sim lovers may not find the complexity they like, but if you want to play an excellent WWII fighter game and don't want the sometimes tedious nature of IL 2, Wings of Prey is for you.
By the way, Steam was selling it for $49.99, while yuPlay was selling it for $24.99 so make sure you check out both before you buy.
