Portable Pro Evo on the go...it used to be a dream.

User Rating: 8.6 | Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 PSP
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is the latest installment of the greatest football game on the market...sometimes its better than the real thing. Pro Evo is always going to work best on the Playstation home consoles as thats where it all begsn but allthough this version on the PSP is scaled back, it offers enough features and fun to keep people interested until O7 arrives.

Fans of Pro Evo through the years can expect a good game of football that they can play anywhere and all the main game modes are here. There is the Master League that is now back after being cut from last years PSP edition. The ML stays the same as before but its the main mode of play on the PSP as there is no Online option. Other than that, there is a number of Leagues and Cups to play through and an Edit mode. Yes, i said an Edit mode....Xbox 360 owners won't know about this mode (There is No edit mode on the Xbox 360 version). You can also save your goals which is always a good feature in a Pro Evo game as the game offers so many different ways to score goals and you never score the same goal twice...you can do that if you play Fifa Soccer.

Overall, the game plays much the same as its console counterparts but it is scaled back to fit the PSP. Controlling players is more difficult and seeing the action in the default camera is not so easy but after a few games Pro Evo experts can startwinning most games on "Top Player" difficulty(The new way to say "5 Star").

Pros & Cons

Pros:

* Its Pro Evo on a handheld and it works
* Has Replays and an Edit Mode (Take that Mr.X.360)
* Master League & Leagues to play through
* Shooting Feels "Real" or better than 360 version

Cons:

* No Commentary apart from annoying soundbites when a goal is scored - "Ohh it's a Goooaaaaalll"
* The controls are not perfect, dribbling is not as easy, tackling is not as precise (however practice makes things easier...they always do)
