This is one of my favorite games of all time, and that is saying a lot for someone that doesn't really enjoy racing games. To say Wipeout HD is a racing game is really an understatement. It provides an experience that few racers offer- pure, pulsating quality. From the cars to the tracks, this game screams the year 2015 (The Future, my friends). It makes me feel lucky enough to live in an age where I can sit in my room in front of a 42" plasma TV and race 7 other people from around the world in such awe-striking environments.
Now, let me explain why this is not just your ordinary racer. First, Wipeout HD provides the gamer with a multitude of weapons that just plan work. A racing game with weapons always trumps one without, imo - it's just more fun. Secondly, Wipeout HD thinks outside the box (we are NOT in real environments and we don't race on rubber wheels), and the world outside the box is spectacular. Finally, Wipeout HD is one of the easiest games to get into, and one of the hardest games to master- This equals perfection in my book.
