How Gamespot can get away with scoring this lower than Pure is a disgrace!
WipEout Pulse manages to keep that same, highly enjoyable, hecticly fast racer that makes it stand out. However the thing that makes this better is Pure is the more depth they have put into the single player, not to mention they have now thrown in online play. One of the new features that stands out to me is the support for mp3 music which, personally, I want in every game. There is also photo mode which allows you to take pictures of your victory. The tracks are better than ever which all feature two variations and some are just plain crazy all because of the new mag-strip function. Another new feature is Team Loyalty, which encourages players to use teams that they don't like very much.
Expansion packs see a return but a major let down is that they are not free. They cost around £3 each and there are 4 to collect. Once you've saved up your money to get the packs, there's no showing off because you can't even use the teams in multiplayer
Overall WipEout Pulse is an essential game and one of the best racers on the PSP. It will still give you that hecticly fast racing experience that makes the series shine. Highly Recomended
Good

Bad
