Wipeout Pulse will light up your PSP screen unlike ever before.
What can you say about a game that makes it look like you are going extremely fast in a futuristic racing vehicle? It is beautiful, and yes that is exactly what Wipeout Pulse is. The cars look absolutely brilliant and the detailed futuristic backgrounds light up your PSP like never before. This may be on of the most visually appealing games in the history of the PSP. The sound effects are too very fitting, and a great soundtrack has been added to enhance the game even more and convey the effect of the futuristic environment better.
The game does not however, lack in gameplay. The cars control well and the controls are pretty basic. There are so many races that should keep you busy for an extra long time. This race campaign includes 24 reversible maps and a less that desirable amount of vehicles. Though this has been shooken up abit by the various speed classes and 7 different races modes, though this doesn't make the hugest difference. Another great feature is the downloadable content which will allow you to access even more of the game's incredible features. Along with this there is an exceptional online mode that will leave you more than satisfied.
There is not much more to be said about this game, it is a short review since the game is short of individual things to talk about, but nevertheless this is an exceptional game that last a long time and puts the PSP's graphical power to the limits. Anybody can have fun with this one of a kind racer available only for the PSP. A 9 out of 10!
