Excellent adrenaline-pumping racing game, although a few flaws

It has been a number of years since I've played Wipeout since I have bought an X-box and do not have a PS2. Having bought my PSP and plugged this in, it was a joy to see the futuristic graphics load up I was itching to play the game. What a joy - the graphics run as smoothly as I can remember and although not quite of the same standard of graphics as the PS2, they are mightily impressive for a handheld. All the old weapons are there and some of the tracks too. The fact that the developers have included downloadable tracks and ships will ensure that the re-play value of this game continues on.
A few gripes, although relatively minor. During the menu screens, it is not possible to see which tracks you have one gold/silver/bronze on. Not a major issue, but it can be a pain having to go to your profile and check which tracks you have completed.
Some of the music could have been better, but I guess this is just a matter of personal taste - I hope that the developers allow music lists to be created in future downloads - there website hints at this.
Bar, that, I would definitely recommend - these are just minor gripes. Go buy and enjoy.
