I love Wolfenstein 3D and this, the GBA has virtually everything the PC version has. If you didnt know already, you basically go through maze-like levels (or floors as there called here) picking up keys shooting Nazis, and finding secrets to get to the end of each level. There are 6 chapters with 9 levels each so thats 54 levels which is a lot plus 1 secret level. Oh, and on the last level of each chapter there is a boss. There are 4 difficulty levels too, and a variety of different Nazis to kill- guards, SS, officers, attack dogs, mutants and more. The game is perfect content-wise but where is the music? Unfortuanetely this makes the sound dull and very quiet but I dont really care either. The only real issue is that there are frame-rate problems at times. While its not the best GBA shooter out, if you love Wolf 3D then you should definitely get this game or if your looking for a good GBA shooter then this is recommended.
Pros: +Exact port of the PC version- contains every level and enemy +Lots of levels to play through +Good replay value
Cons: -Repetitive gameplay- good for some, bad for others -The music is missing from the PC. Eh???
This game has a cult status. And I think it will remain even in the GBA version. It's good to play this shooter again after "all this years" (no, really!) - to walk in those gloomy places - to fire in nazi enemies and to... Read Full Review
