I found the game highly repetitive with no depth to the story or characters. Most of the weapons are useless or not needed as I found I could complete the whole game on Uber difficulty with no more than the sniper rifle and the initial machine gun. The enemy AI is basic and uninspiring posing no challenge at all and the boss battles rely on placing the player in an open area with a ridiculously overpowered "boss", leaving the player to rely brute force to win with an ample amount of luck. The powers in the game are helpful in some circumstances but the placement of refill points for your powers are so plentiful that I found myself constantly using them and thus took away their value.
Although the game feels empty it is not wholly unenjoyable when played for short period of time. I was looking forward to this game for some time but am left feeling disappointed, don't waste your money on buying this game, rent.
