I have played Wolf 3D back in the early 90's and while the graphics were much to be desired from todays context it was still fun to play. Then came the sequel Return to Castle Wolfenstien which raised the bar higher with an assortment of interesting weaponary and compeling storyline. While I can't say the story line of this release is as good it still has its share of orginality and entertainment value. Reading some of the other player reviews I feel like this game is under appreciated. True like some say its the same old stuff with your usuall mix of crazy Nazi creations and what not; BUT thats the point of the game. Its development was to extend the Wolf franchise for players who enjoyed the previous games. Even for a player novice to the franchise there is great potential with an opportunity to make things go bang with an array of weapons and even foce like powers. The environments do justice to Germany of the 1940's and you dont have to have a killer rig to enjoy this game. I think its important to look at this objectively and in the end it does its fair share to keep the Wolf franchise intact. To some this would be a trip down memory lane; to a time before the advent of 3D graphics accelerators. BTW Wolfenstien came out in 1984 in its first incarnation.
