Players, This Pirates of the Carribbean online ROCKs! What kid did not dream of being a Pirate?
I have been helped by Pirate's from around the globe to find GOLD, Solve Quests and to be a part of something bigger than myself. Disney has hit a Home Run in my simple opinion. Pirates of the Caribbean Online is always growing and changing with each update to the gaming environment.
People like to talk about a Global Community; well here it is in the form of players helping players. Pirates of the Caribbean is not your typical role playing game in that you don't fight other players all the time. You have to agree to a "Player vs. Player" mode. This is a limited, timed environment that takes the players to a grotto to duel it out or group together as teams.
Pirate of the Caribbean Online encourages its players to group together in Guilds or just group together on a ship as a crew. What a refreshing idea! Work through problems together for a common goal without having to beat the stuffing out of the other players. Maybe, our World Leaders should sit down and play this game? I know that they would learn a great deal about working together.
Pirates of the Caribbean Online also takes into account that each player will rise at their own speed to higher and higher levels of game play. This is no problem for the beginner or the advanced player. Quests are based on your character's level and you don't have to go up against someone who is three times your level. Remember, No "Player vs. Player" unless agreed upon by each player. But you can ask for help from others in your Guild or players that are around you. I have been helped by others who saved my bacon by stepping in and saving me from my fate. This would have been sinking to the bottom of the Sea.
Off my soap box now, lol. I just wanted to pass this on to the gaming community that this sure is a fun game to play. As an online gamer, this is a very refreshing way to have some fun and a great way to enjoy meeting other gamers.
