Blizzy did it right

What more can i possibly add to what's already here?? Blizzard took on the challenge of turning a RPG series into a MMORPG...and man, what a success!! $OE should be taking notes... :p First thought, you don't just sit down and throw together an MMORPG. They are complicated, intricate, detailed...and that's part of what makes WoW so great, the attention to detail. It reflects Blizzard's commitment to excellence. It's the small subtile things that you may not even think about or notice that make WoW such a solid game. With all the details come the potential for error. But here again, while bugs do exist, they are few in number and rarley show-stoppers. Additionally, Blizzard is constantly working issues to keep things running smoothly while also developing and testing new content. The "cartoon" graphics have been the subject of some controversy, but again, Blizzard did it right. The graphics give the game a true "WC3 in 3D" feel and look absolutely beautiful on high-end systems. The biggest problem I see with WoW is the loss of interest among power-gamers such as myself after lvl 60. At that point, there's only so much to do and after doing it for the ump-teenth time, it gets old. Two possible solutions for that are roll a new character of a different class or switch factions for a while. The most annoying problem would be the lag in IF and lag that occurs during epic, large-scale battles. Despite those issues, WoW has plenty going for it. The strongest argument for WoW would have to be the "fun factor." If you try it out, there's a good chance you'll get hooked. It has an uncanny way of keeping you coming back for more. See you on the battlegrounds.
