Was great! Not any more.

I played this game for about 3 years. The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King expansions were great. Although TBC was much better. Thereafter, each expansion brought game quality further down. All the mysteries and skills that were provoking me to play in the previous expansions faded away by the coming of Cataclysm. Now the game is more about repititive mechanics and repititive gameplay.

I specifically disliked when they added features like dungeon finder, and even raid finder! Those were disasters! All the mysterious part of the game was washed away. That was what I particularly liked about World of Warcraft. I lived it, but now I have to only play it!

I haven't bothered playing Mists of Panderia because I don't like the idea at all. It is not relevant to Warcraft. But from what my brother says (who still plays), the boredom factor hasn't changed.

  Short and to the point... WoW isn't that amazing. It's not really the holy grail of gaming.
