Perhaps my review is a bit late since this game was released almost a year, yet I have played it for whole 2004 year until now and I am a soccer fan and played soccer games in video games, computer games, and in real world for 10 years. This version is no doubt the best soccer game available in the market as I haven't tried WE-8; it's very close to reality and got lots of improvement from previous version, Winning Eleven 6. It offers more difficulty, harder to score and smarter computer opponent to crack, yet, even in the hardest level, when computer scores, it isn't awkward and seems like impossible to prevent it like in some other soccer games; it's very realistic and challenging. Just imagine, you can have a bad day although you're playing quite well, as your shots hitting the posts or blocked so many times by the goalkeeper!! In the other hand, a goalkeeper can make a stupid mistake too, well, that is what really happens in real soccer games, isn't it? If you're a soccer fan, you should not miss this game, it is simply awesome.
