If your familiar with the other Worms games from PS1 then this is even more of a treat. It's no longer sidescrolling but 3D! It's bad ass and just plain fun... It's the first in four 3D Worms games and is essential for the collection. The only thing about these 3D worms games that sucks is that they're hard to find. I've had to get all of mine on Amazon. Worms Forts, Mayhem and Blast are the follow-ups to Worms 3D and are even harder to find. They all offer lengthy unlockables like levels or special weapons i.e. (exploding grandmas, sheep and banana bombs) or just quick matches to pass some time. Mos Def worth the trouble finding them. The series has even expanded to the cell phone industry and is now a downloadable for the Worms fanatic. This game is definetely underappreciated and desereves more facetime in videostores on the game rack. There is no deplorable violence, no blood, just small explosions and goofy-looking worms.
