LucasArts gets this one with the sheer power of imagination.
But they had to go and put in this very silly fight engine that sort of made a total mockery of all other fight engines. Ha! It definately could have worked for someone else but it sure as heck didnt work for me.
The strategic part ran the risk of being over-shadowed by all that senseless running around curtesy of the battle part... but other than that the other aspects were cool enough. Aha! The story was okay... the characyers were on a good enough personal level but the overall plot wasnt too convincing. Guys (and Ladies) at LucasArts... I bet writers for the show 'One Tree Hill' would give you a run for your money. It was obvious we were supposed to feel all that deceit and intrigue and a whole new look at male bravado... I dunno... I just didnt!
hmmm.... Take out the rip-off battles and replace them with something less pretentious and I would definately spend my money on a sequel.
