I just found out that PSP games are region free and I am thankful that Namco Bandai has taken the initiative to bring a worldwide racing series to US. While many of us prefer Nascar, I prefer that quick and twitching feel of a rally car.. although this game is far from sim where you turn left to go right, it still serves its purpose of fulfilling a fantasy that I can race against some of the world's best rally racers. I turn off the soundtrack as I love to hear the turbo charged engine swish and trying to master the hairpin turns by not slowing down too much. I decided to play novice to learn the tracks and won the world championship although some tracks such as Monaco posed some difficulties. With upgraded cars, getting first in most stages were relatively easy in harder levels.
