Work Time Fun.
There are 40 mini-games in all and most are quite enjoyable. The game has sort of a cycle going around, since after playing a mini-game, you collect your payment and spend it on more mini-games, then you play those new mini-games to help you collect more money for items and more mini-games.
The way the game presents itself is very well done. By merely looking at some screenshots of WTF: Work Time Fun, you are assured that this game is extremely weird. By various strange backgrounds and bizarre character models, the game proudly shows off its oddity.
Some mini-games require you to actually listen to your PSP. For example, the Private Number mini-game involves you listening to the way a girl reacts in order to figure out her number. If she giggles a bit when you enter a certain number, that means the number could be correct. If she coughs, the number you guessed could be wrong.
The weirdness doesn’t only occur in the mini-games, the game has some pretty cool and unusual tools you can use. Tools include a restaurant bill splitter (which is pretty useful in situations when you’re out with friends), a flashlight, eye spy, and a ramen noodle timer. Eye spy and the ramen noodle timer are perhaps the most disturbing of the bunch. Eye spy gives you a pair of eyes on your PSP screen to go through and place in front of your own pair to freak out your friends or have a good quick laugh, while the ramen noodle timer has an Asian man (you have the option of choosing a girl) in a Speedo, flexing his muscles and counting down to when your ramen noodles are done. You’ll also have an e-mail inbox, which fills up with random messages, for instance, just yesterday I had a girl name Vernon e-mail me about her private helicopter breaking down and wanting to replace hers with a brand new army helicopter.
Although a few mini-games aren’t that fun at all, the game makes up for all of this in weirdness. You’re going to enjoy yourself while playing this game, just because of the ridiculousness and strangeness. This game is pretty much something all PSP owners out there should check out.
