I pre-ordered WWE 12, and now that I've been playing for about 24 hours, I can confidently say this game is solid. Great graphics and great gameplay offer hours of great fun. I've spent hours and each mode offered this year and by far the most impressive is the WWE Universe. If you actually take the time to play each match (not just ones with your created stars), you'll find abounding stories unfolding before your eyes. Besides the fact that Brock Lesnar is a monster, the way this game produces a cut-scene of him tossing the poor referee unconscious (in the middle of a match by the way!) just to show his aggression is incredible. The Road to Wrestlemania mode is at its best. The creation options have already allowed me, in 24 hours, produce more robust characters than meaningful hours of sleep. This game was almost thoroughly perfected, but every game has flaws. The "BreakingPoint" submission system is terrible, and really makes you stray away from submission moves. There are minor graphical issues when certain moves are done in certain parts of the ring. And the various moves you have to pick from now seem repetitive, due to few new moves and less variation. Regardless, this is a solid game and well worth the buy. And for this solid game, I give a solid 9.0.
