WWE Day Of Reckoning is one of the best wrestling games ever created and is the best wrestling game on the Nintendo Game-Cube yes even better than it's pretty solid sequel but lets not get into that wanna know my thoughts on that game read my review for it LOL. Now WWE DoR is a great game because it was such an improvement over what the terrible WrestleMania XIX was. WWE DoR's gameplay is great it's very fun and addicting, the games roster was pretty good the only guy missing from the roster at this time was JBL but im not a huge JBL fan anyway LOL. The soundtrack in this game is the best out of any wrestling game's i ever heard of. Now the games CAW is a subject to talk about because you have to create a CAW to play through the story mode. This games CAW is the best CAW i have ever worked with you have a paint tool and you can make your wrestler look like yourself you have so much to work with it's just all around great. Now the story mode in this game is one of the best story modes i have ever played in a WWE wrestling game, You play as your CAW and start out as a rookie in the WWE Developmental you go through about 5 weeks of that and during this you have to perform special conditions which later in the game you will have to fulfill them as well in certain matches. After the WWE Developmental you get promoted to Sunday Night Heat for some tryout matches and you wrestle a good number of matches and have to do some conditions in order to pass them. Then after Sunday Night Heat you have a meeting with Vince K McMahon and you sign with either Raw or SmackDown! but the story mode progresses the same either way it's just with different superstars, So the story mode in the game is pretty amazing in my opinion it is linear but it's fun and i enjoyed playing through both times i played through it both times Raw and SmackDown! just because i wanted to LOL. Now what else to talk about yeah the games exhibition match types, You have any kind of match type except for Elimination Chamber which is no biggy because i don't even play the match that much. DoR is also the first WWE Game on Game-Cube to feature the Bra And Panties match and it's exactly the same as in WWE SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain. The games difficulty is pretty challenging you will constantly get countered by your opponent at first you will get aggravated but you will learn how to reverse and get used to it and will not bother you anymore. The game has 5 legends Bret Hart, Andre The Giant, Roddy Piper, Brutus Beef Cake , and Greg Valentine good legends they are all some of my favorites. WWE DoR is a really great WWE game and is worth it for any WWE fan or fan of wrestling games to get. I highly recommend this game for any WWE fan.
