Day of Reckoning, good...very good...yet bad.

Right, lets get the review noone will read started, shall we? Ahem, DoR (Day of Reckoning....duh) has much, much, much....MUCH MUCH!!!!! (YOU GET IT?!?!!!) Better story mode than the previous game, Wrestlemania 19. Its a bit linear and the story is the same no matter what choice you make...and if I recall correctly...you only get one choice throughout the entire story! The create-a-wrestler mode is back, and a bit better. But, they left out a few items here and there, which HAPPENED to be the items I NEEDED. -_-;; Other than that, its a slightly dumbed down version of its predecesser. Now, speaking of dumbed-down...I have a MAJOR problem with the way they redid the entrance creater. It's not dumbed-down, no, it was...given a concussion after being smacked by the log of stupidity. I went in expecting it to be a bit of an improvement, although at the time I couldn't think of anything more perfect as the last one's...so I see my first two choices, Detailed and Easy. I picked detailed, and what do I find? 2/3 of all the customizable options were GONE you were given around 8 camera angles, and an even smaller amount of freedom. The roster, as many have noticed is missing a lot of people, Tajiri, JBL, Pual London, and TONS more. Eh...my review doesn't seem positive anymore doesn't it? The soundtrack is awesome, though, with a wider selection of music to fight to. The sound is great, it doesn't sound like you're punching play-dough anymore. And if you are one of those jerks who pick on the referee, ph33r h1/\/\!!!111 Thats it for my Rant/Review. Buy it if you've got friends...or not..although the single player experience isn't that fun the 2nd time around.
