Playing as the legends, what could be better.
From the moment you hear Hulk Hogans theme music, to hearing Stone Colds screams as he is locked into the sharpshooter until passing out, this game really is a blessing to all those who were watching WWF back in the glory days. What stands out the most in this game is the 'Wrestlemania Tour mode' where the game allows you to 'Relive', 'Rewrite' and 'Redifine' all those classic matches we used to watch when we were kids. The only downfall this game holds is the control system which can be a little tricky to grasp at first but soon grows on you. The selection of legends is overwhelming in my opinion and for those who are non hardcore fans of the older WWF days will not have a clue who half of these superstars are.
The moves lists are simple to execute with impressive chain struggle attacks which can be performed when using the right button combination after the HUD is displayed which brings a nice feature to the game in resemblence to when the matches actually took place in the tour mode.
All in all I think this game is a great way for older wrestling fans to bring back some of the memorys they have when wrestling was (lets face it) alot better then what it is today. A bonus to when playing this game on the 360 would be the easy 1000 score from it. Have fun.
