*Positives*
The graphics in the game are most definitly up to standard with maybe the odd missed texture and the sets, i have to say, blew me away. Certainly some of the best graphics avalible.Gameplay has been apmed up a lot from past games, which adds a lot more depth. The entrances in the game are also very good, though the crowd seems to completely mute at some points. All the original match types are here hell in a cell, tlc, tag, single etc. Now they've added some new modes which include bra and panties and the always enjoyable *ELIMINATION CHAMBER*. But the best upgrade the game has had which makes hardcore matches that more special is the addition of *BLOOD*, though it is restricted to the face, but is a great addition. The character models are great. Some of the best ones are The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold and Goldberg. The season mode takes you through a whole year of WWE programming, but with quite a bit of repetition.
*Negatives*
The sound on the menu screen and during gameplay, gets pretty annoying after a while, and there's no commentary. You can't beat season mode with a created wrestler because you start off with like hardly any attributes.
All in all Smackdown HCTP is a great game and has definitly advanced from SYM. I say buy it straight away if you have the chance, but if not sure about the negative sides then rent it
