WWE Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain is an amazing wrestling game for its time. The graphics have greatly evolved from the previous WWE game, Shut Your mouth. In my opinion, the graphics are way better than Raw v.s Smackdown from 2004. Moreover, the gameplay is the same as usual, with about 22 match types, from the elimination chamber to hell in a cell. The best match type is "backstage brawl", where you can battle it out in places like time square, where you can climb up the building and jump down about 100 ft. or just battle it out up in the sky. Furthermore, there are 54 superstars, such as, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Stone Cold, and The Rock; and also 8 legends, such as, Legend Undertaker and Animal. There are two different storylines, superstar storyline and created superstar storyline, which are both pretty long and extremely fun to play. For story mode, you will have a cool locker room navigation where you can choose to talk to other superstars,ask for title shots, increase your attributes, or just continue on with your matches. Overall, WWE Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain is a great installment for the WWF/WWE series and should not be missed by any wrestling fan.
