This game is the best in the series, no doubt. It is the best game for any WWE fanatic or casual watcher. Each element has its own pros and cons, so I will list them individually. Single Player: The single player is great in HCTP. The career mode is awesome and it features tons of storylines that you can alter, depending on your choices. You can pretty much choose the whole story and very little feels linear and pre-determined. Single player exhibition is a lot less merit-worthy. It is funny to watch the broken AI during matches help you win (or lose). Even so, it isn't so bad that it ruins the experience, but it can easily frustrate you when your partner is on top of a ladder by himself under the title and he just sits their till the other team knocks the ladder over! Multi Player: The best part of HCTP. This game is a great party game and never gets boring (unless you play it as much as I do). Their are so many matches and so many combiations that you can never run out of ideas. 6-man Tag Team Elimination Table Match? Triple Threat Tage Team Ladder Match? You name it! Create-a-Wrestler: My favorite feature. Everytime I get a Smackdown! game, this is the first thing I use, before even wrestling! The fact that every wrestler you create starts with a level of around 42 and that all the clothing starts as either bright blue or leopard print (not really, but pretty close!!) Otherwise, Create-a-Wrestler is a great feature! Create-a-Stable and Create-an-Animation: Create-a-Stable allows you to make your superstars become tag teams. Useful, but I rarely use it. Create-an-Animation is just hard. It is almost impossible to make a fluent animation. Other: The sound in this game is barely existent aside from the entrances, and they are trimmed down from Shut Your Mouth. The menu music is basically a guy screaming and is incredibly worthless. The graphics could be better and I have run into a lot of glitches. So, in summary, HCTP is a great game overall and has amazing gameplay. It never gets boring, and it is the best yet. But, the graphics and sound can be worked on.
