A well made addition to the series
To put it simply SvR 09 on the PSP delivers exactly what a high end console like the PS3 or Xbox 360 but to our hands with the obvious exception of graphics.
The Good;
A huge amount of diverse matches ranging from Inferno to 6 man elimination chambers
No more annoying looped commentary through matches just varied music which was a good choice in my opinion - Commentators do talk a lot between matches however but its as simple as hitting X to avoid this
Create a Finisher - What can I say this tool is an easy means of making brutal finishers the way you like them and I must say it was a well made feature that is simple to use
Storylines - There are several "Road to Wrestlemania" paths you can undergo and alternate endings for each although I only play them through for the unlockables.
The Bad;
Loading screens - I seem constantly plagued by loading screens; Although if you turn entrances off you easily avoid 2 or more loading screens immediately.
Music skipping or cutting - Between loading screens the music will cut out which is understandable but during a match occasionally there will be a small hitch or two in the music which can be slightly annoying - Hardly noteworthy though
Stupid A.I. - The predictable point and notorious with all SvR games; The AI is plain stupid anything from walking in and out of the ring while you are on top of the cell to stealing a chair from you to throw it back on the ground; These blokes are dumb and shouldn't even be approached tactically
Well that's about it for the good and the bad list I tried to keep the review as unbiased as possible - It is however hard because I am so into this game and having it on a hand held is amazing to say the least I hope everyone else gets as much enjoyment out of this Review/Game as I had Writing about and playing it
