When I first played Wrestlemania X8, I was filled with mixed emotions about it. It has good graphics, it has many cool features, but it's just not that great. The gameplay is ok, but it's kind of complicated. To pick up a weapon, you must hold two buttons at the same time. You only have about five standing grapple holds, and every character walks over the top rope to get out of the ring. And, the sound, I think, is the weakest aspect of the game. The crowd barely cheers anything, except during the entrances. And the in-game music is not really good at all. OK, now the good stuff. There are many interesting features, the create-a-wrestler mode is very cool, and the entrances are very realistic. Overall, WWE Wrestlemania X8 is a good game, but the flaws just hold it back from being a great game.
