The best wrestling game you can find on the Gamecube. If you like wrestling, then you'll love it!

Wrestlemania X8 is the one of the best games I have ever played and owned on the Gamecube. When it first came out, it's graphics were very good, the sound was all right and the gameplay was immersive. The story mode doesn't have much story in it, but I like it like that. The character models are well designed, they resemble the real wrestler, and they have the appropriate moves.
After you get all the belts and unlock the wrestlers in Path of a Champion, there are still many, many more belts to get in Battle for the Belts. There are most of the fun matches you'll want, fun weapons to use and great players. The Create a Superstar mode is actually pretty good, but could use more choices. The most fun matches are (in mine and others opinions): Hell in a Cell, Royal Rumble, Battle Royal and Steel Cage match. The others are fun too, but those are the best. It's always fun seeing your own created character give the Big Show a Powerbomb through the top of the cage, and see him defeat the Undertaker over and over.
The difficulty in this game is fairly easy, unless set on painful. That is the only difficulty I've ever lost in. I have never lost to anyone in that game other than computers on painful in a Battle Royal. If I use my created character, who has very high stats (I'm still getting them better), I never lose. He is like unstoppable unless against a painful computer. On painful, it's almost impossible to pin the computers. You have to do about at least 5 Specials to pin them, and more. I usually beat them by making them submit, if I want to quickly finish the match.
Overall, Wrestlemania X8 is an amazing game. Hey, even though I have a Wii, I still play it to this day.
