Not the best, but not the worst.

WWE WrestleMania XIX is the second WWE game on the the game GameCube. Above some major flaws, this is a better game than the previous game. The gameplay mechanics are back to the weak and strong grappling and striking system. What this does is that if you tap the button, you do a weak grapple or strike, whereas if you hold it down, you do a stronger version of the move. With all of this, the matches themselves are more methodical. The new game mode this time around is the "revenge" mode. The story is that you are being dragged out by these two security guards and been thrown out of the WWE. You then have these jobs from Stephanie McMahon to get your revenge on Mr. McMahon. This is a terrible game mode, simply put. The missions are repetitive and the enemy AI just gangs up on you.
The graphics are good, but not the best of the GameCube. Most guys like Triple H, Chris Jericho, Edge, Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero are good, but others like Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit and Batista look to muscular and over exaggerated. The sound is mostly average. It is better that WrestleMania X8 and music is far away better than what was in that game.
This is overall a good WWE game and it's worth checking out. The good: Great gameplay engine, the graphics.
The bad: Revenge mode is a pathetic excuse of a mode, the graphics, Revenge mode AI really gangs up on you.
