Comparing to last yr's title WWX8, its a huge improvement. Although there are couple of crappy stuff here,its still fun.

Wrestling games have always been fun for the N64 WWF/WWE fans, thanx to the AKI Corp... Now its Yuke's who takes over the game buissness. Their first was WWX8, fun but wasn't very good at all... Heres the sequel to the game. Its a HUGE improvement over the graphix, you can't say how much better the graphics have gotten. The sound is more awesome now, finally theres some actual "sound" in the game. I bought this game about a year after the release, new sealed for only $9.99... but starting at $50... well... its not a very worthy price, heres why; The Gameplay is still very fun, with TLC, Tablesmatch, ladder,,, hell in the cell... but if a new match was added, it would be an improvement... which didnt happen. The create a wrestler mode is stil fantastic, 2 thumbs way up. The most disappointing and broken part of the game is the story. This game's story mode AKA Revenge mode isnt actually a story mode. You defeat cops and construction people and drop them down the builiding... which is not really anything related to Wrestling. As far as the controls go, its still pretty much the same, except now the hard grapple is added, a great addition...The roster is once again weak, coulda, should of added some people like the APA, Spike Dudley, even though theyre not as experienced and famous wrestlers like Undertaker, HHH, The rock ect.... I recommend this game to GC Wrestling fans who will just mostly look for roster updates and better graphix and so on and so forth. It's not exactly a huge step from the last year's. But overall... the game feels like a missed opportunity. Have fun!
