I think that this game has succeeded in pleasing the general gamer. After Wrestlemania 2000 (which I thought was a complete disaster), I thought wrestling games for the Nintendo 64 were hopeless. But No Mercy came along and proved me wrong. This game got enverything right. The graphics are better than what you find in an average N64 game. You can see the player models are much more accurate than they were in Wrestlemania 2000, and the cutscenes look superb. The music is typical rock music, which I found surprisingly catchy! The story mode is the best part about this game. I also like the WWF Mall, where you can get many unlockables provided you do well in story mode and rack up a lot of money. There is a also a wide variety of wrestlers such as: The Rock, Triple H, Kane and other superstars. Of course, Hulk Hogan is missing, but you can create in the great create- a- wrestler mode. There are also a lot of game modes, such as hardcore, TLC, steel cage, ironman and many more. There are some flaws in this game such as a few wrestlers look mutated, and sometimes some impossible things happen , if you know what I mean. In my opinion, this game is one of the best made for N64, and all gamers who have a N64 should buy this game or atleast rent it.
I can't believe Gamespot only gave this game a 7.7. This is definitely the best wrestling game for the N64 and it may even be the best wrestling game ever. When you first play WWF No Mercy you will be stunned by the s... Read Full Review
