At this point in time,War Zone's championship mode was what the game was centered around,you went through matches to move up in the ranks and ever so often defeated opponents would return for a grudge match and add more of a challenge for you to win the championship.
The create a wrestler feature is the mode that got fans hooked as they could create their very own superstar and give him moves and a look of their choosing to go up against the WWF superstars.
This game started it all as since then the WWF/WWE games have moved on from both Acclaim and from the PS and have continued to bring us excellent wrestling games.Every year they seem to just get better and better.
War Zone is where it all began and it will always be the one game that fans will remember as the game that got them addicted to wrestling video games.
