A classic wrestling game that still is so much fun to play.

This game brings back fond memories of playing in the arcades. You can play in 2 different modes, either Tag team matches or (my fav) the Royal Rumble. The Rumble lets you start with 6 wrestlers in the ring, and when one is thrown out or pinned, a new one will tkae his place after an appearance on the games "titan-tron" so to speak. The actual gameplay is suprisingly deep, theres counter-moves, outside of the ring action, you can hit people with a briefcase or steel steps, several double-team moves, finishers, poses, taunts, etc.

This game allows you to pick from 10 different wrestlers including Sgt. Slaughter, Hulk Hogan, Big Bossman, Smash and Crush of Demolition (the first game to have this great team), The Ultimate Warrior (his flying clothesline is awesome) Earthquake (with his ridiclous/hilarious/good finisher) Ted Dibiase, Mr. Perfect, and Jake the Snake Roberts. Hawk and Animal are cpu controlled in the Rumble and are the bosses for the final SNME tag match, and are unfotunately unplayable. Sadly, 5 out of the 12 wrestlers in the game, have died in real life at a young age. (most in 40's).

The game has few bugs, nothing major. The sound and the graphics are great, still look good even today (not 3D, but who cares?) and the fun factor just grows wit the more people playing (up to 4 on most arcades).

So if you havent played this classic, make sure you do somehow, either in an arcade or some other way, if you know what i mean.
