For being an anime-adaption, I'd have to say I absolutely love the visuals, the game has a few flaws, but all games do.

User Rating: 9 | X-Blades PC
It all comes down to which flaws are the most impacting.
To me, the only flaw in this game was the repitition; yes it's a bit of a grind.
But to be honest I don't think that this game deserves such a low rating, I honestly loved playing the whole game, its got a fun story, good difficulty, and beautiful visuals.
Did I mention I loved the visuals?
I just find them simple awe-inspiring, they're beautiful and immersive.
This game has a lot of fun elements to it, combat is fun, and if you enjoy the combat and points you get to spend, it won't seem like such a grind to you.

The game's short-commings are: lack of immsersive story, quite a large amount of the time you feel like you're playing a japanese mmo; which is basically a grind.
The dialogue doesn't really make up for it, as there isn't much of it at all.
The bottom line: This is a beautiful game, its fun to play and has weak story and constant grind.
If you like the combat system, chances are you'll like the rest of the game, the parts where you do encounter story elements are amazing.
If this game centered more around the story and included a greater amount of dialogue, it could very well have been rated high up with the rest of the well-known and popular games.

I'd say, its definitly worth the play, even if just as a rental - people only really complain about the grind with this one, but truthfully, its a fun game, especially if you love anime.
