I've played both games in the series but this one vastly improves on the last installment of the series. The gameplay X-Men Legends has to offer is something every gamer must experience whether you're familiar with the franchise or not- who isn't. The series in general is worthy of the X-Men label and offers the franchise the playability it's always deserved- dating back to some of the stints it had on the genesis system. This game offers an RPG-type upgrading which works a lot better than the last one and it's much more rewarding. The only drawback to it is the developers choice of graphics rendering. Call it user preference but current-gen system offer greater capabilities than the graphics shown in this game. Nonetheless, its a great game and this is a minor drawback considering the captivating plot. With X-Men's latest installment in the loom we are left to ask ourselves: Can it match up to the already established X-Men Legends II?
