X-men how you've always wanted them to be.

Want a bit of the X-men in your living room? Pick up this game. Brilliant graphics, gorgeous cut scenes, and good voice acting all combine to make this game a very solid number.

There's a new enemy in town, and the X-men have to team up with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants to take it down. You can play Sabretooth and Wolverine at the same time. Tell me you never wanted to do that before.

This game is very good. There are some being lost issues in some levels, but you will soon find you way, and you can get back to your button mashing of killing the mutant haters. Don't worry, you can do it.

More characters means more people are happy. There are a whole host of new cut scenes, along with 'pseudo-cut scenes' where the Professor takes the group asside and talks to them. This still looks like you could control your characters, but you cannot. That's why I call it a pseudo-cut scene. Don't worry, there are plenty of other cut scenes you can watch.

There are characters and bosses that will make the hardcore X-men fan happier than Larry, and will have you squealing with glee when you see such characters as Omega Red and Mystique.

As stated before, there are new characters to play, but one character is thankfully missing. Magma. Yes, she has been deleted, and thank goodness for that. I really didn't like having to play with her in the first one, and it was a welcome surprise that I don't even have to bother with her in this one. Good job guys.

There are many unlockable characters to find, and there are many acts to play in. Like Diablo II almost, you have a boss battle in the end. (And what self respecting video game wouldn't?) These four 'horsemen of Apocalypse' are waiting for you at the end of four levels, but their henchment aka 'mini-bosses' are spread throughout the game.

You can play previous levels over agian for more expirience, which was a very welcome addition to the game. Even though there still are danger room missions that you can play to break up the manotany.

Overall this game is very good, and I recommend it to any X-man fan out there.
