A nice and pure Beat-'Em-Up you will have a lot of fun but you won't create a fan club for it.

I've seen the movie a couple of months ago, it was a fun movie. The game was fun too. You won't get ultra excited but you won't get bored either. Its a great game to rent or to buy if its on sale but it won't be on your wish list.

The storyline is mostly the scenes we didn't watch in the movie. How he get of the gets out of the facilities where they gave him the adamantium upgrade, what happened at Africa when they found the stone and Wolverine left the team etc. And of course all the fighting scenes which the movie includes.

About the game play. I would like to use the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk as the claws if not through all game at least on boss fights but no. All you get is to use the Wii motion sensors to lunge on enemies or lunge your way out of trouble. You mostly have to use the wolverine's senses to find where you have to go and what to do. Its an easy game but in a couple of parts you have to get creative to find what you have to do not to win but to move to the next building. But remember for all problems the solution in this game is "press the lunge button".

The Boss fights is not as hard as they look at the movie. You fight and wait to reduce yours enemy health until you will see on the screen which button you have to press for the big finale! Usually it takes less than 5 minutes but if you mess up the sequence at the end you will have to wait a couple of minutes before you get the finale sequence again.

The cut-scenes have great graphics but not the whole game. The camera sometimes is not helping at all but most of the time its fine. Well bottom line you either have to beat or lunge your way through.

I don't regret for the money or the time i spend on this game. I had a few hours of fun and with out the usual puzzle solving nonsense of other beat-em-up games. Here all you do is fighting 5-6 hours of beat-em-up! So if you like that kind of games you must try it. If you are not a great fan of the genre you can rent it and have fun for a couple of evenings.
