This game is the best at what it does, and what it does isn't pretty. And that's what you got to love about it, because eviscerating somebody with adamantium claws should be bloody. Sure, the graphics are sometimes a bit buggy, and the game can get a bit repetitive, but you don't play a Wolverine game for mental stimulation, you play it so you're vitually indestructible mutant can claw a path of destruction through the entire game. And that's exactly what Wolvie does here. No sandbox pretensions here, just a couple of interesting levels and slash, slash, slash.
There are some flaws in the implementation, to be sure. For some reason, the cutscene graphics are worse than in the actual game. A bit more variety in types of enemies would have been nice, certainly. And, the game isn't the longest in world, that's for sure. But if you love Wolverine, you got to try this. The only question is whether to buy now at full price or wait a little and pick it up on sale.
Could the game have been better, sure. But, for pure fun, this game delivers like Dominos!
