I rented this game with low expectations due to some of the poor games I've played in the past that were based on movies. But I wanted to try it because I've been a fan of the X-Men franchise since I can remember. I began playing it and I picked it up very quickly and it wasn't very long before I really started to enjoy it. There are a ton of fun, gruesome ways to dispatch frightened henchmen (if you can remember them all) and some good boss fights. After awhile the game can get a little repetitive but you can gain points which in turn earn you new moves and different ways to let the enemy have it. There are also some small glitches and a couple of times it seemed like the game needed a little more polishing but none of that really takes away from the game. The game is fairly easy but it's a guilty pleasure I've been addicted to recently.It's really enjoyable and even if you are not a fan of the franchise I would still recommend at least renting it.
