A solid button masher that does a pretty good job of making you feel like Wolverine.

User Rating: 8.5 | X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Uncaged Edition) X360
Pros:
Combat is fun, gruesome, and addictive.
Decent customizable options (Mutagens/Skill Progression/4 Costumes.)
Really Makes you feel like the Wolverine himself.
This is a pretty game, minus a few graphical glitches.

Cons:
Camera can get annoying when your tyring to fend off multiple enemies.
Relatively short, (5 chapters.)
Sub Boss battles are repetitive.
Africa setting gets repetitive.
Dumb A.I.
Repetitive enemies types.

Now down to the specifics:

This game has flaws, don't get me wrong, but this game sucks you in with some really dazzling and brutal combat, and wont let you go until your thumbs bleed. And even then it dosen't let go easily.

Watching all the skin on my back dissapear showing Logan's spine and muscle tissue as a machete warrior slices my back off, or watching bullets whiz though leaving only scraps of wolverine as a chopper desperately tries to gun me down never gets old.

The settings are beautiful, but going back to Africa every other mission is kinda boring. Don't get me wrong, there's barely ever a dull moment, but I would have like to have seen some more settings.

The mutagen system, allowing you to add up to three perks onto Logan, is pretty awesome. There are eight different mutagens that you find though out the game, finding them again on later levels ranks up the mutagen, increasing the effects. Some of which are very useful, especially on hard mode (One mutagen reduces the wait before your regeneration kicks in, one gives extra rage per kill allowing you to use your specials more often.)

The A.I. is not the worst I've ever seen, but they are still pretty dumb. They flank you, but in numbers that wont really give you to much trouble when taking cover to regenerate.

There are a few camera angle problems that could lead to some cheap deaths, but for the most part, it's pretty smart.

There are a Two standard enemies that you see all the time. The machine gunner, and the Melee fighter. There are other types that you see (The goliath, enemies that wield shields and massive cybernetic arms. The ghost, enemies that turn invisible and wield shotguns and a few more.) But still, after a while you know the strategy for taking out every enemy you'll meet. Leaving the game somewhat repetitive.

Another plus to this game is that, if you're an achievement junkie like me, the achievements, are very easy to get. In my first play through I got 615 points out of the standard 1000. Most people could have the full 1000 within the first play though if you really scour the environment looking for dog tags.

Overall this is a fun game, but i would suggest renting this title, as there really isn't to much replay value, unless you wanna kill people in different costumes.
