Xbox Live Arcade is a disc where (with an Xbox Live account) you can play classic arcade titles such as Dig Dug, Pole Position, and Galaga...for a price, even though it comes with a free version of Ms. Pac Man. The prices vary for all the games, but it does seem a little steep to pay up to $19.99 for a simple puzzle game, yet i have seen others go as low as $9.99. The games that it offers, other than the classics, are mostly just remade versions of other arcade titles just renamed and graphically raised, and they don't give you the same feeling as the originals, they just leave you feeling empty. There are also some other games that are pretty entertaining, and with the ability of playing online with these games adds to the replay value. The sound of all the games are pretty good. Though, the classics really hold true to the originals. Overall, the Xbox Live Arcade is a nice addition to the Xbox Live family that will probably only appeal to fans of old-school gaming.
