Okay, so I watched the t.v. show religiously (but I'm not an over the top fan I just loved the show) and when I heard there was going to be a Xena game...well I just had to get it. I pop it into my PS and load her up and much to my disappointment...it wasn't Lucy Lawless doing the voice of Xena. WTF?!? I could care less about the rest but Lucy is Xena. Someone really screwed up there, but putting that aside, the voice "actors" didn't do that bad of a job emulating Xena's trade mark battle cry, though you still can't beat the original. It was fun to play and I'll keep it in my collection for a rainy day play when I'm feeling nostalgic for the show, and my brother, more of a fan than I am liked it more, except for the lack of Lucy Lawless. Love it or Hate it, the game gives you sword play, hand to hand combat, Greek Mythology, and a tricky chakram that takes a bit getting use to, but once you do its fun to use.
"Wait, Xena can't fly." "I told you I'm not Xena, I'm Lucy Lawless." (from the simpsons)
And I think Lucy Lawless would make a GREAT Wonder Woman!!!
All I can say is that I had alot of fun playing this game. I picked it up for $9.99 a few years ago and I wasn't disappointed in the least. The sword fighting is alot of fun and satisfying. I has a nice balance of enem... Read Full Review
