This is by far the best game I have ever played. This is Squaresoft's masterpiece.

The story is unlike any other I have ever seen. There is so much depth in the story, so many religious references, so much symbolism. The story is enhanced with animated cutscenes that give it that anime rpg feeling. You will become so drawn into the story that chills will run up your spine when you see your gear transform.

The gameplay is very unique and fun. You can do combos while fighting and create unique combinations that will devastate your opponent.

You can also have secret characters join your party and assit you. Speaking of the characters, my favorite is Fei's alternate ego Id. He is THE MOST BADDASS character ever. He can take down an entire gear with his fists. He is also the pilot of the Xenogears (the ultimate gear). \

I just can't describe how amazing this game is. PLAY IT!!! it will change your standards on what an RPG should be.
