The game starts off on the right foot, its shows some great graphics and lots of action. it is quick moving and very exciting with zombie like people and tons of stuff shooting at you. you get a little background on whats going on but you do still get posed some questions, which at the beginning of a game is good. you see some blood and you see a guy lose his eye, nice and exciting right? I was all hyped up and ready to play some more after this but unfortunately it turned out to be a fluke. the game slows down and it doesn't ever really pick back up again. you do get some incredible looking cut-scenes, but they aren't that action packed and they aren't always necessary. The battle system is turn based and a little slow. you can boost your characters so that they can have their turn sooner but it isnt always necessary. many of the boss battles require long intense training to even come close to beating and this gets a little irritating being on one floor for over 6 or 7 hours fighting the same thing over and over again. When you finally get into your E.S. robots, even though they look great they really aren't that exciting to use. they are slow and just as boring to run around with as the people. the battles are nearly identical to battles as a human so even more bore there. The story is a very enchanting one and i suggest that they quit with the game and just write a book. i would read it and love it because it wouldnt require hours of boring receptiveness and it would show you one of the things i love most about this game. or even better they could just make a 3-D movie out of it and you could see the great graphics and get the great story without the boring receptiveness. i suggest you dont buy this game unless you have some way to skip the game play and just watch the plot unfold with amazing graphics.
