One of the best sequel game that I have played ever so go out there get Xenosaga I and play and then get Xenosaga II NOW
GRAPHICS: The game has amazing texture and character design. The graphics are clear and crisp. Combined with its vivid background it makes the game almost perfect. Changing the characters looks was a good addition because I hated the migit dwarf characters.
GAMEPLAY: Well the battle system can get irritating after awhile because of the lo mid and high attacks. I think that Monolinth Soft should of sticked to the first battle system. The area which you adventure are very detailed but the frustration comes in when you are bombarded by a monster which can get annoying. Nice game play but needs upgrading to a better one that is less annoying for Xenosaga III hopefully.
MUSIC: The games music wasn't all that great from the first one. The first one featured orchestrated music that seemed to go very good with the game. Most of the annoying music in Xenosaga II comes from the background when your in a city with that annoying techno tune playing in the background. Only when there is something dramatic is when the good music kicks in.
STORY: I personally thought that the story continuation of Xenosaga II from Xenosaga I was better than I anticipated. The game starts out with a prolouge which sets the story for Jin to fit in. The only thing that didn't really come in the story was who the heck are these hooded guys!?! Well I guess we'll learn that in Xenosaga III. The story was amazing from start to end and we finally learn of Albedo's motivs. So pretty much Xenosaga II story was to reveal: Albedo's motivs, What the Zohar really is, Tells a little more about these hooded guys (Circle of Zarathustra), hint on Ziggy's life, Jin and Shion relationship, and Jin and Margilus relationship.
