Good installment to the stroyline but the fighting engine could use work.

Well this time around things were a little different, some for the better and some for the not so better. First off the story gave a few more things to ponder over, like we didn't have enough loose ends as it is. The people we thought were bad are turning nicer and the nice guys are becoming more not too nice. The biggest and somewhat most unwelcome change is the vast difference in the fighting mechanics. The zone system helped with the strategy of setting up big combos but as the game progressed the combos and other conditions were required which made the battles repetitive, tedius and drawn out instead of engaging and thought provoking. The AWGS fights are even more repetitive by only allowing you to use two arm weapons and a shoulder weapon and no zone attributes. The game helps redistribute the "good guy/bad guy" attributes to the storyline as well as not really helping the fighting (spoiler) which is a good thing they're geting rid of for the third one. It continues the first one and Monolith adds to a great and compelling story.
