With excellent graphics and fluid gameplay, this game really shows off what the gamecube can do.

User Rating: 9.1 | XGIII: Extreme G Racing GC
This is probably one of the most overlooked games ever released on the gamecube, and it came out shortly after the launch. Even though Extreme G 3 came out a few years ago it still holds it's own against any of the modern racing games on the market today.

It's not like most racing games where by you get used to the way the vehicle handles after about 10 minutes and then go on to complete it in about 3 hours. Oh no no no. This game is hard, but no so hard that you can't do it. What i'm trying to get at is that you will most definitely get your moneys worth, even though you could probably pick it up pre-owned for 10 pounds.

The graphics have that WOW factor from the very begining, you will get excited in seeing the track your about to go speeding round before you even go round it. The track design has been very well thought out, and pushes your driving skill to the limit. There is no glitching and no pop-up just fantastic smooth graphics.

The next thing notably super cool about this game is the sound. All the sound in this game is produced by the ministry of sound . It also supports Dolby Digital which if you have is absolutely wicked, and sounds like EZ's in your front room. The music really gets you into it in a way that no other game does.

The bikes are kitted out with weapon upgrades that would scare Bush into a corner trembling, which u can choose before you race. Included are heat seeking rockets, E.M.P, mines, laser cannon and others. It's great fun blowing the hell out of the other bikes as your speeding around the twists and turns.

The way the game works is quite simple and easy to get to grips with, however there is one thing i should mention. To play this game is relatively easy at the begining, but for the later levels you need to have the reflexes like a cat in a thunder storm. This is by far the fasted racing game evr made. So if you have the reflexes of a snail in the road, this might not be the game for you. Extreme G 3 also supports a great multiplayer mode which will have you coming back again and again.

So go out and buy this game if you havn't already, and when your in your lounge with your hair blowing back braking the sound barrier remember my review. One of the best on the gamecube by far.
