I'm not a big race-game fan... definitely not racing SIMs. But occasionally, I get an itch to whip myself around a track. For that, I prefer fiction racing (sci-fi'ish, non-licensed cars racing). This game is enough to satisfy my itch.

I don't find the story line that immersive, and the characters are forgettable, but the tracks are fun, fast, and pretty, and you get a lot of practice tracks to run, without having to finish one race. Perfect for the reason I got the game.

Race tracks will range from terrestrial tracks to those weaving in and out of space stations. What I though was a nice touch, was when leave the inside of the space station, and are in space, the engine sounds disappear, and you’re left with just the music sound track, until you enter the station again. Nice touch I though.

Speaking of music, what’s in this game is a little generic, but you do get the choice of either a Ambient/Techno’ish set of music, Heavy Rock music set, or a mix of both.

And to top it all off, when your playing “Season” racing, weapons are thrown into the mix.
