Yakuza is a very interesting and ambitious game. It will last you for at least 1 or 2 playthroughs. The strongest point for the game for me was the storyline. The fighting system was very good but definatley needed a bit more work. With Yakuza 2 approaching, hopefully they will improve on that. Kazuma Kiryu is also one of the best characters in video games that have been around in the past 1-2 years in my opinion.

Go out and buy Yakuza if you have te spare cash. You will enjoy it for a certain period of time. It's an action/fighting game with a few rpg elements added. Sometimes, it can be a pain with the random battles and such, but i found the levelling up ok. Just unlocks new moves and techniques as you progress.

  If you can get passed a few problems here and there, Fans will enjoy the series more if you've missed out first time.
