Yakuza is a nice original game from SEGA delivering a good lengthy story and some solid beat em' up action.
The Bad: It gets kind of boring when you have to get from one place to another and not only does your character only run at one pace but every 5 second you run into somebody to fight, some of the character dialogue is kind of cheesy, action and gameplay can feel kind of repetitive.
Yakuza which is made by SEGA is a really good game with some good action and a good story to back that up with. The fighting in this game is pretty old school beat em' up.If SEGA ever makes a new Streets Of Rage game they can definitly use this kind of fighting engine.Buy at times the action can get a little repetitive. The graphics are amazing and that includes the gameplay and the cutscenes. The story feels kind of cliched but I still thought that is was done very well.It is nice and long which can be either good or bad depends on how you look at it.You can use weapons, buy food or medicinal drugs, and play mini games. You can even go into hostess bars which is a pretty cool part of the game.I did think that Elisha Dushku's voice was a bit out of place but all in all it didn't bother me that much.So if your a fan of beat em' ups or just looking for a good action game with a pretty good story then I can recommend this game to you.It must be doing pretty well because they are already coming out with a sequel as well as a movie based on this game.
